In September 2025, the City of Waupun was invited to participate in a Main Street Cohort Program with Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and three other communities from across Wisconsin.  Main Street is a proven economic development model used nationwide to coordinate plans for design, marketing, business development, and investment to create a downtown where renovations make sense, vacancies get filled, events are intentional and businesses grow together instead of competing alone. 

Join us for a short, informative session with WEDC on January 6, 2026 to learn how becoming a Main Street community can help Waupun businesses grow together and reduce risk.  This conversation is for you, if you care about:
