7.08 - SIDEWALK CLEANING.

The owner or occupant of premises abutting on a sidewalk shall keep the same clean and free of rubbish, refuse, dirt and other substances. If such owner or occupant fails to clean his sidewalk within 24 hours after notice to so by the Street Superintendent, the Superintendent shall cause the same to be done and the cost thereof shall be assessed as a special charge against the abutting property as provided in § 66.60(16), Wis. Stats.
